InterTrrafic 2022
This month Quantum Hub visited the Intertraffic conference in Amsterdam.
Intertraffic is a platform for professionals to stay up to speed on the developments in the fields of infrastructure, safety, parking, smart mobility and traffic management, with some 800 exhibiting companies and a visitor attendance from 140 countries worldwide.

Spark Program Batch #4
We are now about to open our 4th batch of the SPARK PoC Runway program, in our core fields: of Industry 4.0, Automotive & Mobility, Logistics and Energy.
SPARK is Our flagship 13-week program targeted for MVP+ startups, building a POC or beta-site process around a specific usecase, with a designated champion from business units within our partnering companies.
The opening event is scheduled to the 11th in May at the Ecomotion week.
This month, Quantum hub launched the first Top women in Industry 4.0 list, which presents over 50 leading women from senior positions in startups, tech companies, corporations, and ecosystem players related to industry 4.0
Together with other ecosystem partners, we created the list to strengthen the Industry 4.0 community, facilitate a platform for connections and collaborations, and salute the women conquering Industry 4.0 challenges in Israel and abroad.
We celebrated the list's launch with a first networking event that hosted two panels: Scaling up industry 4.0 and Bussines in transforming Industry.
This list and the event were the basis for establishing the new Women in Industry 4.0 community, and we are excited to see what will come next!

Tadiran Energy Challenge
This month, Tadiran and Quantum Hub have launched the Energy Challenge: a designated initiative that is looking for technologies related to Tadiran's growth strategy with the opportunity to work closely with Tadiran's management and experts, and to win a fully-funded PoC.
"We expect to be exposed to a range of entrepreneurs and startups that will develop the next solution in the energy field. The winners will have the opportunity to put the idea into practice alongside support from leading professionals in the energy field."

Quantum Hub PoC Use-Case
The Situation
Business at quarries is being measured by the amount of volume being excavated by the company that runs the site.
Today, the work done by Avodot Afar at Nesher quarry are not monitored with a day to day volume excavation, but with weekly and monthly results being tested manually by an authorized surveyor.
What we did
Two days of experiment were conducted:
day 1 - Marking of control points in the work area, and using 'Avodot Afar' drone to take up to 140 photos of the area cell -with a size of 50 by 50 square meters.

Once the second model became available in the system, the volume differences between the two models was calculated.
Expected Results
-Precision of 3%-5% of the system volume conclusion (compared to a manual survey).
-Increasing the results of the quarry shuffle drivers by 10% from 380 ton per hour to 418 ton per hour

Greazly is an industry 4.0 digital platform for industrial lubrication management. Using information coming from sensors and data analysis, Greazly offers industrial factories a lubrication management solution aiming to increase the OEE of industrial machinery.
