LG Electronics and the Israeli company Valens Semiconductor Partner on Next-Gen Camera Systems
LG VS Company has selected Valens Semiconductor's VA7000 MIPI A-PHY chipset family for its next-generation camera system project.
LG Vehicle Component Solutions (VS) Company has selected Valens Semiconductor’s VA7000 MIPI A-PHY chipset family for its next-generation camera system project. Automotive OEMs are expected to be able to benefit from this inaugural solution starting in 2026.
Valens Semiconductor chipsets will form the underlying connectivity solution between multiple camera sensors and the LG VS Company’s cutting-edge next-generation camera system. This will enable the seamless display of multifunctional information to augment driver decision-making and enhance passenger safety.
Innoviz Technologies to Develop Lidar for BMW
Innoviz Technologies and the BMW Group are expanding their existing collaboration by starting a B-sample development phase for Innoviz’s second-generation InnovizTwo lidar sensor. Samples will be fabricated following BMW requirements.
The partnership will include the first deployment of lidar-enabled highly automated technology on the BMW 7 Series later this year. The result of the first B-sample phase will enable the BMW Group to decide on a serial development agreement with Innoviz that will focus on bringing a new array of advanced automated capabilities to a broader range of the BMW lineup.
In addition to the lidar solution for the 7 Series, the BMW Group and Innoviz have started the first phase to develop a lidar-based minimal risk maneuver (MRM) system. The MRM acts as a secondary safety driving decision platform that will leverage the advanced performance, reliability, and resiliency of the InnovizTwo lidar to manage real-time driving decisions. The MRM system is part of a growing software suite from Innoviz that will also include its next-generation perception software.

Champ #4 Graduation Event
Innovation is the lifeblood of progress, and at Taavura Livnat, nurturing innovative thinking is a core part of its ethos.
At the beginning of August, we celebrated the graduation of the 4th cohort of the Quantum CHAMP program with an inspiring pitching event.
CHAMP, short for Creative Heads and Mindful Pioneers, is Quantum's internal innovation management program designed for our Partner's executives. This event marked the culmination of a transformative 6-week journey for our participants, equipping them with essential tools, knowledge, and, most importantly, an innovative mindset.
The graduation event was a testament to the dedication and hard work of our CHAMP #4 participants, held with great pomp and enthusiasm. It served as a platform for these executives to showcase their newfound skills and insights.
During the event, participants adeptly presented the challenges they had identified within their organizations. These challenges spanned a wide range of topics, from operational efficiency and sustainability to customer engagement and digital transformation. What truly stood out, however, were the innovative projects they had developed to address these challenges.
SPARK #7 Program - Registration Is Now Open
We are thrilled to announce that we opened the registration for the 7th batch of the Quantum SPARK Program.
SPARK is Quantum's 13-week PoC runway program that offers startups the opportunity to design and conduct a PoC with at least one of Quantum's partners:
The selected startups will have the chance to establish strategic and business collaborations with a designated business unit within three months.
As part of the screening process of the program, startups advancing to the next stage will be given the opportunity to present their technology to our partners - at the SPARK screening committee scheduled in mid-October.
